Community Guidelines

Every member is a licensed nurse (LPN/LVN, RN, or APRN), an internationally registered nurse, or a student enrolled in a nursing program, verified at application. Real names and real credentials are the default. Accountability among verified peers is what makes this community worth your time.

Discuss clinical situations only in fully de-identified form. De-identified means no names or initials, no dates of care, no facility or employer names, no ages combined with rare conditions, and no images containing any patient information, including EHR screenshots with names, dates, or record numbers. When in doubt, leave it out. Moderators remove violations immediately. A second violation ends membership.

Mark any post anonymous and it displays without your name. Your identity stays verified behind the scenes and visible to moderators. Using anonymity to attack colleagues or promote products forfeits the feature permanently.

Disagree with evidence, never with insults. No harassment, no condescension toward members newer to AI, no dismissiveness across specialties, degrees, or career stages. Treat every space like a break room where your name badge is showing.

Disclose any financial relationship with a product you discuss, every time. Companies and their employees participate only through labeled partner channels. Posing as a neutral clinician while promoting a product you have an interest in ends membership. Recruiting members through unsolicited messages is prohibited.

Claiming another person's identity or credential results in immediate permanent removal, notification of the clinician whose identity was used, and a report to the relevant licensing board and law enforcement where appropriate.

Every post and reply carries a 🚩 report control. Reports go directly to moderators and reporters stay confidential. Enforcement: first violation earns a private warning, second a 14-day suspension, third ends membership. Patient-privacy and impersonation violations skip this ladder. Appeal any decision by emailing hello@ainurseacademy.ai.
